| There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. And we celebrate one of these activities as ultimate frisbee! As WhangBonny of Ultimate Meadows (Episode 2) would say, "Legend says that [ultimate frisbee discs] soar through the air like a gift from above."
History (Sources to be reviewed) Ultimate Maneuvers was born in a parking lot less than 10 years ago in Lexington, MA, and it's not going to die anytime soon despite the weather. In fact, some of our early games ran in torrential downpours. So ultimate prospered and after some time, the seeds of a webpage with scouting reports and banners ads were discussed one fateful Tuesday at Burlington Mall. Thus, UM Xanga began on Sunday, June 27, 2004.
There's been a great deal of both good and hard times at UM and more surprises yet to come. So continue to come out and enjoy some ultimate each Sunday at 3pm and Tuesday at 5:30pm. We hope that by coming out and even playing, we can foster a seasoned community that really cares for one another beyond the superficialities of life. That being said, please enjoy this following tribute.

| So here's the 411...
This Sunday at 3pm to about 6pm, ultimate returns with our warmup at the normal LHS field. So don't forget to bring a change of clothes! Don't worry if you forget because we're probably mostly all out of shape so it should be an ultra casual afternoon.
Officially, our ultimate season opener will be the 20th. That day, we'll be...
-Handing out prizes for the winners of the Beyond Belief postings if individuals are present -Bringing up the lost-and-found and hopefully people can claim their items, else they might be free for the taking. There's a couple of discs (albeit used) that are free for the taking as well -Discussing the status of the jerseys (essentially, logos have to be polished and not copyright before we can proceed)
Feel free to invite friends from wherever and let's be mindful of new people joining! :) However, if you're not into ultimate (yet), there's plenty of other things coming too... board games, and other sports to come.
Finally, this year we'll be together a more comprehensive first aid kit with more ice packs. If you feel like helping out with this or with other supplies, please let me know. Thanks and see you all on the field!
